The communities range from traditional detached single family homes, townhomes, to “horizontal apartment” style developments with a range of design features and amenities specifically developed to be rented rather than purchased. While there are a range of operating models, most of the BTR developments are gated communities with one-to-three-bedroom
homes with small backyards.
